The Var

Between sea and mountains, in the heart of the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, the Var is the first French tourist department. With 300 days of sunshine a year, the Var offers visitors three different types of landscapes: the coast, the hinterland and the Haut Var - Verdon. The Var is renowned for its wild shores and sandy beaches. Its famous seaside resorts: Saint Tropez, Saint Raphael, Sainte Maxime, Cannes, Bandol, Le Lavandou, Saintt Cyr. Sea trails run along beaches, creeks, coves, pine forests and undergrowth ... always with a wonderful view on the shores.
